Asphalt Reheat Systems currently offers
four main sizes of portable units. The current line of portable
heaters are in a class of there own, with regards to mobility and
performance. These light weight heaters can be easily disassembled and
transported to anywhere heat is needed. Like all of the heating
units in the A.R.S. line, these portables use a radiant blue-flame type
of heat to warm the asphalt's surface. Our infrared heaters are superior to
the standard infrared heaters and was developed to specifically help
eliminate the risk of overheating, save on fuel costs and heat the

4x6 Portable Heater

The 4x6-S/C Portable
Asphalt Heater units are available with a standard high output heating
area of 24 square feet. With usage of three, 8” steel wheels, this
heater can easily be pushed around a jobsite The unit can be operated
off of one or two (20, 30 or 40lb.) LP tanks. The Split Channel feature
gives the operator an option to heat one half of the box (2'x6') at a
time.
Two units are capable of pining together
to heat a 4x12 area or 6x8, and still be operated with a single control.
These large areas are surprisingly easy for one person to push around a
jobsite.
Like all our portable
heaters, the 4x6 has a small 12 volt battery, solar power panel, and
battery charger all on board to help ensure the units automatic
ignition. Panels are made of 14 gauge stainless steel, lined with a high
temp blanket material for greater fuel efficiency.

4x4 Portable Heater
|
|
These popular units are available with a standard
high output heating area of 16 square feet. Weighing only 195 lbs.,
this heater can go almost anywhere. Two units are capable of pining
together to heat a 4x8 area, and still be operated with a single
control. A simple connection bracket allows two units to be attached
side by side as well (pictured below). The 4x4's have low fuel consumption, up to
3 hours of operation per 20 lb. propane tank. It can reheat almost any asphalt to a
pliable texture in under 5 minutes.
The unit is also available in a Split
Channel version, which gives the operator an option to heat one half
of the box at a time. Changing which side receives the heat is made
easy with a switch on the T-handle, next to the timer switch. The 4x4
Heaters are the ideal units for mid-size patching, utility repairs as
well as small areas of stamped asphalt application or repair.

2x4 Portable
Heater

This compact heater has a standard heating area of 8 square feet, The
unit weighs just over 100 lbs. and can be easily loaded and unloaded
by two individuals.
Two units are capable of pining together
to heat a 2x8 area, and still be operated with a single control.
It has the same excellent fuel consumption as the 4x4 units, but has a
slightly shorter heating time.
The unit is also available in a Split Channel version that can heat
separate 2x2 areas at a turn of a switch. These heaters are ideal for
small utility repairs, printing borders, fixing drainage problems, and
smoothing joints for a seamless patch.

These are the smallest heating units on the market and not to mention
the lightest, a mere 95 lbs.
Two units are capable of pining together
to heat a 1x8 area as well as a 2x4 and still be operated with a
single control.
The heating times and fuel consumption are slightly less than the
other portable units.
The 1x4 units are available in the high output version, which will
produce more intense heat. The 1x4 Heaters are exceptionally good for
smoothing joints to a seamless patch, fixing drainage problems,
erasing tire indentations and printing borders.
