Asphalt Reheat Systems offers some
of the best Seam Heaters on the market, which all use the same radiant
blue-flame technology as the rest of the A.R.S. line. With
the rolling blue flame, no scorching flame will be applied to the
surface, therefore reducing the risk of burning any new asphalt
and creating a superior longitudinal joint. Unlike many
infrared units, an electric blower is not used to power
the fuel system, thus eliminating the need for generators and/or
large batteries as its source of power. These units are equipped
with quick fuel and electrical connections as well as an onboard
battery charger that can be plugged into any outlet when
necessary.

|
The standard Seam Heater can heat an area of one foot wide by 16 feet
long when opened to its operating position. It has four separate, four
foot heating sections that can be turned on and off independent from

This unit also has a versatile design that allows it to be attached on
a variety of pavers on either side. This unit is also available with
the optional automatic thermo output control, which has the capability
of maintaining a joint temperature of 250 degrees at paving speeds up
to 25 feet per minute on an average day.
This unit is typically used during the paving process to heat a
